London Collections: Men Opens Spring 2014 Fashion Season!

Pocket squares at the ready? Check. Because men’s street style is about to get too fast too furious as London Collections: Men gets underway!
Tomorrow, the dapper chaps of London will be out in force as London Collections: Men opens for four days of style, swagger, and fashion soul with the start of men’s fashion week.

The week will begin with Dolce & Gabbana opening their fourth boutique store in London on Saturday during which the Spring 2014 Tailoring Collection for men will be presented.

Then, the shows get underway! With Lou Dalton, Alexander McQueen (Men), Paul Smith (Men), Tom Ford (Men), and many more lined up to showcase their newest collections of the season.

Biggest news of the week, however, is that after 10 years showing in Milan, Burberry announced just days before kickoff that it will be moving its menswear show to London! Which follows in the footsteps of its womenswear line that returned to the London catwalks in 2009.

“London is the creative heart of Burberry and our global headquarters, so we are incredibly excited to be showing our next men's collection here,” said Creative Director, Christopher Bailey.

He continues: “The country's proud menswear heritage and outstanding contemporary talent give it a unique and powerful energy. It is a wonderful time to be bringing our menswear show home.”

Meanwhile New York- based brand rag & bone, returns to its British roots and will showcase its Spring 2014 menswear collection for the first ever time in the UK.

London Collections: Men marks the first of the menswear Spring 2014 collections shows with Milan and Paris soon to follow.
